The government decided to extend the exchange’s deadline once again, this time until June 12. During last week, Argentina disclosed a preliminary proposal to bondholders, which includes certain improvements in the new securities’ details, many of which had been requested by the bondholder groups in their previous presentations. The fact that the government has disclosed a new offer with improvements could translate into some progress in the negotiation, although it still seems to be far from being closed.
